Feature Requests

This is a request to make it possible to define shifts where one of a list of skills is required. It would be good if the required skills can be also be OR . So if I have two different skills but an employee has to have one of them. Today you can put in more than one skill but then it requires both of them.

Some jobs require (limited) equipment or tools to be used while executing a task. Some task also require spare parts to be taken along. Given that the number of tools is finite, this introduces an additional constraint to the optimisation process, ensuring that tool availability is factored into production schedules. Potentially that equipment needs to be cleaned or charged in between use.

This is a request to make it possible to control the minimum amount of break times, or maximum amount of service time (for a certain period).

Enforce a driver break after a certain amount of time: e.g. after 4.5h of continuous driving time, there needs to be a break of 45min. We will probably see something like this in many regulations.

New kpis abouts costs, revenue, profit: e.g. revenue per km (specifically asked for by Data New Road), total costs, total revenue

Technicians get a compensation for the km driven, which could cover fuel costs, but also a general compensation for the usage of the car (if it is the private car of the technician for example).

Use case: * There is already a schedule (existing planning solution, manual planning, etc) * there come in new unplanned visits * Task: Fit the unplanned visits into the schedule with keeping as much of the existing plan as-is currently we allow for freezing up a plan up until a certain moment, but that doesn’t allow to have new visits replanned before (if optimal).

This request is to allow configuring traffic impact on various dimensions (time, region etc) to adjust expected travel time for known traffic impact.

This is a request to have cost as an optional decision factor in the overall optimization. If fuel costs, wages and overtime costs are provided to the model, the model can use this to calculate costs and then optimize for cost reduction. Additionally the model can then expose KPIs reflecting these costs and their total.

This is a request to allow for minimizing the overall distance travelled, by e.g. adding the option to give preference to jobs close to start/end locations, where possible.
